Mickie James has teased having another match.
The 45-year-old hasn’t wrestled full-time since leaving TNA in 2023. She has wrestled intermittently over the past year and a half, including matches in RevPro and IWR. Her last match saw her team with Shelly Benson to defeat Havok & Mila Moore in September.
She is a former champion in both WWE and TNA and is considered a legend in both promotions. While she isn’t signed to any major promotion, it looks like Mickie James could be continuing her career in the ring.
Mickie James replied to a Twitter user who said they wanted to see her wrestle one more time. The former WWE and TNA champion said she “might make that happen”, teasing a return to the ring in the near future.
“I think we might could make that happen… ” Mickie James said on Twitter.
A return to WWE seems most likely, with the Royal Rumble coming up in the new year. Her husband Nick Aldis is also the general manager of Smackdown, giving her another reason to have one last WWE run.

Mickie James is one of the fantasy opponents that Mercedes Moné would love to face in the ring.
In the latest issue of the MonéMag, Mercedes Moné named her top five fantasy opponents and explained why she wants to face James in the ring for the first time.
“What can I say? I LOVED her versus Trish Status’s storyline growing up! I was so inspired by it, I never saw a woman’s storyline like that. What made it even more incredible was that it lasted for an entire year which seemed unheard of for women. They even had an amazing WrestleMania match. I was only a teenager then, but they just truly inspired me, so Mickie makes the last for sure.”
