Grade: B

Great opening segment. It was apparent we were getting a women’s WarGames match; it was just a matter of how we got there. The setup makes sense; everyone involved absolutely hates each other, and that’s all you need. That’s highlighted by the reigniting of the Morgan/Ripley feud, which could be the main event in a Hell in a Cell at this point, and no one would bat an eye. One thing- it doesn’t make sense, regardless of whether her facial injury wasn’t as severe as initially thought, for Ripley to start a brawl with a headbutt.

LWO (Rey Mysterio & Zelina Vega) vs. American Made (Chad Gable & Ivy Nile)

Before the bell rings, Nile slaps Vega. Both women brawl and fall out of the ring. As the bell rings, Mysterio sends Gable flying with a rana. Mysterio lays in punches in the corner. Winners- LWO

After the match, Julius and Brutus Creed hit the ring and console Gable. Gable yells at them both about him not being a loser. Gable slaps Julius repeatedly. Julius slaps Brutus. Brutus and Julius slap each other and get hyped.

Grade: C

Good TV match to further the issue between American Made and the LWO. The spot of the match was Mysterio literally tossing Vega into a rana on Gable. That looks impressive.

No Contest

Grade: B

This was a good championshaaa match. The way Lilian Garcia says the word “championship” will never not be funny. Breakker hits the ropes like a freight train. Watching Breakker run through people is one of the best things going on Raw these days. Sheamus has been delivering in big matches for years, so it’s not a surprise that this match came together so well. These two beat the crap out of each other. Even though we didn’t get a winner, Kaiser made a statement tonight. It will be interesting to see what happens next here. Triple threat IC title match at Survivor Series, perhaps?

The War Raiders (Erik & Ivar) vs. The Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio &  Carlito)

Erik tosses Dominik clear across the ring. Carlito tags in, and so does Ivar. Ivar runs over Carlito. Erik and Ivar beat down Carlito. The Judgement Day takes over after a cheapshot to Erik. Grade: C

Standard stuff here. The War Raiders have looked impressive since their return. Tonight was no different. Ivar tossing Dominik all over the ring was priceless.

Winner- Bronson Reed

Grade: B

This was a good match overall, and it set up the main event at Survivor Series WarGames well.

WWE Raw Review:

Good show overall. Breakker defending the IC title against Sheamus in a hard-hitting contest was the match of the night. Check that one out if you happen to miss it live. Solid build towards WarGames, as both the men’s and women’s WarGames teams came into shape. We will find out Friday if Bronson Reed having the Outlaw Bloodline as backup will be enough to get Seth Rollins to put his differences with Roman Reigns aside (spoiler alert: it will be). What do you think happens next? Let us know if the comments!
