Kaitlyn wouldn’t mind mixing it up in the Royal Rumble one more time.
One of the big four Premium Live Events is the Royal Rumble. One of the biggest highlights of the event is the 30-Men and 30-Women Royal Rumble match. A key element in the men’s and the women’s Royal Rumble matches is the surprise entrances. Recently, former WWE Superstar Kaitlyn shared her thoughts on potentially making an appearance at next year’s Rumble PLE.
While speaking on the A2theK Wrestling Show, former WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn shared that she is open to making an appearance at the 2025 Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. She also revealed that a few years ago, there were plans for her to be one of the special entrants in the women’s Rumble match. But unfortunately, the plans did not come to fruition.
“Like, it depends. I’m always down to do something cool. If it’s like cool, and fun, and makes sense I’m always down for that. And there… I had gone to a Royal Rumble a couple of years ago where there was a possibility that I was going to be in it. And it ended up not unfolding. But, I’m like… I have a whole different life now. But it’s… WWE is a huge part of who I am. So, I’m always down for stuff that makes sense. I’m always down for stuff that’s really cool. And it’s just… You know, hasn’t really unfolded that way yet. But yeah, I’m always open to opportunity for something to crossover or to make sense again. Always open for that,” Kaitlyn said.
Kaitlyn (Celeste Bonin) on Royal Rumble 2022
Kaitlyn previously told the Developmentally Speaking podcast that was called to appear at the Rumble in 2022, but never made an on-air appearance because she was an alternate entrant.
“I think it would be cool to do something at some point.” Kaitlyn said. “I’m in the best shape ever physically now. I actually went (to the Royal Rumble) not last year but the year before I think. WWE called me to come out, I ended up not doing anything on the show. But I’m open to it.
“I think, before, I had such an attachment to what wrestling has to be or what container it has to fit in. But now I just see myself as who I am. So if there’s ever an opportunity to go and do something really cool with wrestling in some way and it makes sense for me and makes sense for my schedule, then I would so be down for it.
“I of course, need to brush up a little bit in the ring. I haven’t been in the ring for a couple of years. But I’m at this stage of my life where I’m like, ‘let’s go, let’s do it;. So I would definitely be open to something like that. Definitely don’t have the chapter fully closed in terms of what I’ll allow myself to participate in or be a part of.”
