Tommaso Ciampa comments on his actions.
On the November 15 episode of WWE SmackDown, Tommaso Ciampa interfered in the tag team title match between the Motor City Machine Guns and the Street Profits. Ciampa, clearly frustrated, lashed out at both teams. His tag team partner, Johnny Gargano, came out and tried to calm him down. Ciampa then shoved Gargano down and walked away.
In a post on Instagram, WWE shared a clip in which Tommaso Ciampa commented on his actions.
“What happened out there? What happened out there between you and Johnny Gargano and Motor City? Every man has a choice,” Ciampa said. “I made my choice. He has to make his choice.”
Tommaso Ciampa On Wanting More
Ciampa recently commented on WWE’s tag team division. Speaking on the Battleground Podcast, he explained how he wanted more.
“Being on the inside of that, I always want more, and I always want it to go faster,” Tommaso Ciampa said. “But I think that’s the normal nature of any competitive—it’s not even just sport—any competitive business. You always want more than you’re getting, and you want it to happen faster than it’s happening. It’s exciting to see tag teams getting that light shown on them.
“Now what we want is to get on the premium live events. Like, you watch France crowd from home, or you watch something like SummerSlam from home, and you’re just like, ‘Well, that’s the best crowd you’re gonna get.’ Even when we just did a tour of Germany, every night was a great crowd, but the Berlin crowd was by far the best one. You want to be a part of that—commercial-free, most eyes on you, biggest stage possible.”
“So, it’s very cool that the Tag Division is starting to get some prominence, but boy, do we want more, you know? And I think that’s just the nature of the beast.”
