Mercedes Moné trained with former WWE star Indi Hartwell and AEW’s Harley Cameron.
AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Moné is getting ready for her match against Kris Statlander at AEW Full Gear. Ahead of the match, she spent some time training with some familiar faces.
In a tweet, Mercedes Moné shared a picture in which she was standing with Indi Hartwell and Harley Cameron.
Fightful reported that WWE released Hartwell on November 1. She will be a free agent once her 90-day non-compete clause is up. Cameron is signed to AEW, and she competed on the November 16 episode of AEW Collision. There, she lost to Mina Shirakawa.
Johnny Gargano On Indi Hartwell
Johnny Gargano is close friends with Indi Hartwell, and he believes that she has untapped potential. He commented on her release while speaking with Metro.co.uk.
“We still do believe that she’s so incredibly young, I think she’s got a lot to offer the wrestling world, and I am very excited to see what she shows the wrestling world,” he said. “I think she’s got untapped personality, untapped potential. I think when she’s able to finally show that to the world, people are gonna latch on.”
