WWE SmackDown Viewership Decreases Against Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul On 11/15

WWE SmackDown saw a decrease in viewership on November 15.

According to Wrestlenomics, SmackDown averaged 1.234 million viewers on Friday. The show drew a 0.32 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership number is down from last week’s episode when an average of 1.536 million viewers tuned in. The demo is also down from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.47 rating in the same demographic.

These numbers mark SmackDown’s lowest numbers since the show moved to USA Network in September.

SmackDown went head-to-head with the high-profile Netflix boxing card that was headlined by Jake Paul facing Mike Tyson. Per Wrestlenomics, Netflix announced that 60,000,000 households watched the main event fight.

What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?

This week’s show kicked off with a promo from Cody Rhodes calling out Kevin Owens. Nick Aldis came out and informed Rhodes that Owens was sent home and wasn’t at the show.

Plus, Motor City Machine Guns and The Street Profits wrestled to a no contest when Tomasso Ciampa got involved and attacked both teams.

Elsewhere on the show, LA Knight defeated Berto to retain the United States Championship.

In the main event of the evening, thanks to outside interference from Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae, Nia Jax defeated Naomi to retain the WWE Women’s Championship.
