TNA have announced the return of the Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl Match for Turning Point.
The Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl is one of the promotion’s longest-running themed matches, dating back to 2007. Back then, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles and Chris Sabin battled in a three-way match where the loser was forced to wear a Turkey suit.
This continued periodically until 2018, with the same stipulation for the loser in each one. After a five-year hiatus, TNA brought the match back on the Thanksgiving episode of Impact last year.
The match will get even bigger in 2024 as TNA announced on Twitter the latest edition of the Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl match at the Turning Point pay-per-view.
They revealed that six men will be part of the match, making it one of the most star-studded in TNA in a long time. Joe Hendry, Eric Young, Hammerstone, PCO, Brian Myers and John Skyler will battle in the free-for-all match. The loser will be forced to wear the dreaded turkey costume.

TNA Title Is Still Joe Hendry’s Focus; If He Has To Start From The Bottom, So Be It
Battling to avoid wearing a Turkey costume is certainly starting from the bottom.
Joe Hendry spoke with Drop The Heat and was asked if he is still targeting the TNA World Championship in the near future. The former WCWP Champion noted that he needs to start from the bottom to get into title contention. Luckily, that is exactly what he’s prepared to do to win.
“I mean, my focus is still very much on the championship, as you saw on the TV show. Like Santino said, I need to start at the very bottom and work my way up. If that’s the way it needs to be, then that’s the way it needs to be.” Joe Hendry said about the TNA title.
“In both my personal and professional life, all I’ve known is struggle, grind, and resilience. Nothing came easily to me—none of my talents or achievements. Even in amateur wrestling, I had to lose the British Championship four times, or however many it was, before I finally won it. I struggled on the Indies for a long time before I got signed. I’m just not used to getting things on the first try. And I’m the type of guy who won’t quit or go away,” Hendry added.
