Trish Stratus and Lita are hitting the road for a milestone celebration.
The duo, collectively known as “Team Bestie,” will appear at GalaxyCon in Columbus, Ohio on Friday, December 6. The date is significant as it is 20 years to the day that Trish and Lita main evented WWE RAW, becoming the first women to compete in the coveted spot.
“Team Bestie: The Main Event” will feature Trish and Lita celebrating their iconic championship match with an exclusive fan Q&A session and photo-op. There is also a limited number of tickets available for a “Main Event Mix & Mingle” cocktail party on Saturday, December 7. This will allow a limited number of fans a rare chance to interact personally with Trish and Lita.
“We are excited to celebrate with our fans and share some special stories of a night that’s still talked about 20 years later,” Trish and Lita said.
Tickets for the events on Friday and Saturday are available now. Stratus also shared on Twitter that the first 100 purchases will receive a special gift from Team Bestie.
Trish says she has a story to finish in WWE
Trish Stratus returned to WWE in 2023, aligning with Zoey Stark for a feud with Becky Lynch. Their rivalry culminated when Lynch beat Stratus in a Steel Cage Match at WWE Payback. Stratus also recently hosted Money in the Bank in Toronto. She told Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated that she had unfinished business.
“Cody isn’t the only one with an unfinished story,” Trish said. “I loved being back as a special guest in Toronto at Money in the Bank. And who knows, if I can still go, I’ll still keep going. I’ll never half-ass it. If fans are interested and it can influence another generation, then we’ll see.”
Stratus said there was more to the story with Zoey Stark, who turned on her after the cage match against Lynch.
“When Zoey got introduced, I was very pleased with that,” Stratus said. “The chance to influence someone else’s career, it means a lot. She was great to work with. She loved to learn, and there is more to the story between me and Zoey Stark.”
