Liv Morgan looks ahead to the 2025 WWE Royal Rumble.
With WWE Royal Rumble tickets currently on pre-sale, WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan joined The Pat McAfee Show to promote the 2025 premium live event. In theory, this could mark Morgan’s record-breaking eighth Women’s Royal Rumble match appearance, but according to Morgan, she will not be entering it this go-around.
“The Royal Rumble is one of our big four [shows]. It’s the most unpredictable. I feel like, to me, it’s the most fun too. You don’t know who you’re going to run into, you don’t know who you’re going to see. Whether it’s legends of the past, superstars of the future, your favorite superstar currently, you don’t know who’s going to enter the Royal Rumble. You don’t know who’s going to win the Royal Rumble. I’m not going to enter the Royal Rumble this year because I’m going to walk in the Women’s World Champion,” Morgan said.
Per tradition, the winner of the Women’s Royal Rumble has the option to challenge for whatever WWE title they wish at the subsequent WrestleMania event. Should Morgan continue to carry her respective championship through WrestleMania season, she would be one of the candidates for the winner to choose from. Morgan, however, warns that it would not be a wise decision to select her.
“They could pick a champion of their choice. So if they choose me, I don’t think they would, because it’s not very smart to choose me. Have you been watching?” Morgan said. “[I have] Raquel [Rodriguez], The Judgment Day, Daddy Dom [at my side]. I don’t know who’s going to want to take their chance against me.”
