John Cena will officially compete in the 2025 Royal Rumble match.
In a post on Twitter, WWE confirmed that Cena will compete in the battle royal. The post noted that it would be Cena’s last Royal Rumble at WWE Royal Rumble on February 1.
The event will be in the early stages of John Cena’s retirement tour. The 16-time world champion previously announced that his final run would be in 2025.
Cena is a two-time Royal Rumble winner. He won the match in 2008 and 2013. 2025 will mark his first time competing in the Royal Rumble since 2018.
