The latest WWE Speed Number One Contender’s Tournament is complete.
The November 13th episode of WWE Speed featured the semifinals, where Akira Tozawa took on Dragon Lee. Tozawa nearly scored the win at a few points, but the LWO representative ultimately emerged victorious. In doing so, Dragon Lee won the tournament, so he will challenge Andrade for the WWE Speed Championship on the November 20 episode.
Lee and Tozawa advanced to the semifinals after winning their first-round matches against Tavion Heights and Riley Osborne, respectively. The other side of the bracket was negated when Sheamus and Bron Breakker battled to a time-limit draw in the quarterfinals. They were both eliminated, so Lee and Tozawa automatically moved on to the semifinals.
Lee is riding some momentum outside of WWE Speed. He defeated Chad Gable on the November 3 episode of WWE RAW.
Andrade has already defended his title against Pete Dunne, Baron Corbin, and Xavier Woods.
