Liv Morgan Doesn’t Feel Pressure In Following The Four Horsewomen

Liv Morgan doesn’t feel pressure to improve on the legacy of the Four Horsewomen in the WWE.

The Four Horsewomen is a name given to the four women who helped build the NXT women’s division before the women’s revolution. Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks and Bayley were the four women who changed how fans viewed women’s wrestling in the WWE.

Their matches were as good as and even better than their male peers and showed how women could become top stars in the WWE if given the opportunity. This has changed the face of women’s wrestling, although Liv Morgan doesn’t feel the pressure of their legacy.

Liv Morgan spoke with Cameron Hawkins for Uncrowned on Yahoo about the impact that the Four Horsewomen had on women’s wrestling in the WWE and how they affected her view. She gave the four women credit for paving a new path for women and changing the perception of women in the WWE. They built a platform for her to prove how good she is in the ring.

However, she made it clear that she doesn’t feel the pressure of following them. Instead, she just wants to show how good she is without worrying about their legacy.

“They definitely have paved a new path for all of the other women in the locker room and on the roster,” Liv Morgan says. “For me personally, I feel like ever since I started with the WWE, all I really wanted was to give myself the opportunity just to see how good I could become.”

“Or how great I could become — just to give myself the opportunity to see what I can do and what I could accomplish. And so I don’t necessarily feel pressure to follow a specific lead, but more so just wanting to see how great I can be.”
