One of the most popular tag teams in all of professional wrestling is the team of Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, The Motor City Machine Guns. In just their third match in WWE, the duo defeated the Bloodline and became the new WWE World Tag Team Champions. Earlier in the night, The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano, DIY in the Finals of the WWE World Tag Team Championship Number One Contenders tournament.
Immediately after winning the finals, The Bloodline cut short Shelly and Sabin’s celebrations. Solo Sikoa wanted the challengers to fight for the title right now and they accepted. After some interference from The Usos and Roman Reigns, The Motor City Machine Guns dethroned The Bloodline to become the new champions.
Now, former WWE World Tag Team Champion and one-half of the current TNA World Tag Team Champions, Matt Hardy shared his thoughts on the Motor City Machine Guns winning the WWE tag team titles.
