Matthew Justice has won the gold.
At MLW Lucha Apocalypto on November 10, Justice defeated Bad Dude Tito in a Falls Count Anywhere match to win the MLW National Openweight Champion. In doing so, he ended Tito’s reign at 173 days. Tito won the gold at MLW Azteca Lucha on May 11, where he beat Rickey Shane Page.
The win marks the first time that Matthew Justice has captured a singles title in MLW. He previously won the MLW World Tag Team Championship with 1 Called Manders.
