AEW World Champion Jon Moxley sent a message to Shota Umino at NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed.
Umino and Tomohiro Ishii beat IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Zack Sabre Jr. and Bad Dude Tito at Friday’s show. Moxley appeared on the video screen, and he said that Umino had lost his way. The AEW World Champion said that he would send an “emissary” to face Umino at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty, and he would continue to mold Umino into the champion that he knew he could be. Umino responded by saying that he would fight whoever Moxley sent. He also said, “F*ck you, Jon Moxley”.
Umino will challenge Sabre Jr. for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19.
