WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam feels appreciated in the NXT locker room.
Rob Van Dam appeared on the October 29 episode of WWE NXT. He is set to make an appearance at their 2300 Arena show on November 6.
Ahead of the November 6 episode of WWE NXT, Rob Van Dam appeared on Busted Open Radio. In one highlight, he was asked whether he felt more secure as a legend in the WWE.
“I feel a little more like that. I was about to say, ‘No, I feel the same way. Just a little more optimistic.’ When I was at [NXT] last week, everybody goes out of their way to come up and say how much they appreciate me being there. It really feels legit and honest, it doesn’t feel like they were told to do it. They come up, and they’re happy, they’re excited that I’m there.
“They think it helps their show out, they look up to me, they watched me, they know that I’ve been wrestling longer than they’ve been alive. None of that was really apparent before. Unless somebody points these things out, you might not know how anybody feels. But I do feel like, moving forward, I just think it’s gonna be a good year for the legends. They’re gonna get a lot of love and acknowledgment for what they’ve done, and that’s really important.”
WrestleZone will have coverage of NXT as it airs on Tuesday.
