AEW star Ricochet will officially face Zack Sabre Jr. at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty.
New Japan Pro-Wrestling confirmed that Ricochet will be in action at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty. He will face IWGP World Heavyweight Championship Zack Sabre Jr. in a buzzworthy singles match. The announcement did not specify whether the world title will be on the line.
This comes after Ricochet attacked Sabre Jr. at NJPW Power Struggle on November 4 and challenged him to a title match.
The match marks Ricochet’s NJPW in-ring return. He previously wrestled for the company for a few years before his WWE run. Among other accolades, he won the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship and the Best of the Super Juniors tournament.
Kenny Omega has expressed his hope to compete at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty. The Young Bucks are set to be at the show as well.
