Mercedes Moné loves getting a chance to work with Tony Khan in AEW.
While speaking on the Battleground Podcast, Mercedes Moné shared that AEW President Tony Khan is the most amazing person ever.
“He’s an awesome billionaire. Oh my god! I get to learn from him every single week and just how he gets to treat people alone. Legit. Leaving the arena, he will say bye to every single worker that’s working backstage. He is just the most amazing person ever. And just him as a boss alone, it’s just great. And you can see that when you watch AEW. It’s just the best company ever. And the best wrestlers just want to be here.”
The CEO also shared that her tenure in AEW so far has been amazing and it’s the best that she’s ever felt.
“My first seven months? It’s been amazing. I mean, look at this behind you. Each title has its own locker room. It’s amazing. It’s been the best so far and the best I’ve ever felt in my career. Having these matches and opportunity. And just the chance to keep on growing, and going, and having these new dreams, and living old dreams. My biggest dream was to be in Japan and now I am a New Japan Strong Women’s Champion. It’s been the best so far in AEW because this is where the best wrestle. And AEW makes sure that I have this really competitive fire in me. I still want to be the absolute best and I feel like I’m just getting started. Really,” Mercedes Moné said.
