The winners of the Super Junior Tag League have been crowned.
At NJPW Power Struggle, Robbie Eagles and Kosei Fujita of TMDK defeated Francesco Akira and TJP to win the tournament. In a post-match promo, they called out IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Kevin Knight and KUSHIDA. KUSHIDA accepted their challenge for NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19 but noted that they wanted to see TJP and AKIRA compete in the title match.
Clark Connors and Drilla Moloney then attacked everyone and made it clear that they wanted to be in the title match.
TMDK and Akira and TJP won their respective blocks in the Super Junior Tag League. Akira and TJP defeated Knight and KUSHIDA in the block stage.
