Ricochet Appears At NJPW Power Struggle, Challenges Zack Sabre Jr. To Match At Wrestle Dynasty

Ricochet stepped into an NJPW ring for the first time in years at NJPW Power Struggle.

Zack Sabre Jr. defeated Shingo Takagi to retain the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship in the main event. After the bell, Ricochet crashed his celebration. He dropped Sabre Jr. with a springboard clothesline. Ricochet proceeded to challenge Sabre Jr. to a title match at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty on January 5.

Ricochet then took to Twitter and commented on his appearance by saying, “Had to remind the world that I’m still the f*cking man around here.”

Before his WWE run, Ricochet wrestled for NJPW for several years. During his time there, he had an unforgettable match with Will Ospreay. He also won the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship three times and the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship three times. He also won the Best of the Super Juniors tournament.

Ricochet signed with AEW earlier in 2024 and made his debut at AEW All In in August.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
