Kenny Omega makes it clear that he wants to wrestle at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty.
The former AEW World Champion has been sidelined due to diverticulitis since December 2023. He underwent surgery in May, and he has been on the road to recovery ever since.
Kenny Omega appeared at NJPW Power Struggle and said that he would love to return to the NJPW ring and face one of the company’s new stars. He stated that he would love to test himself at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty on January 5, and he said he would love to do it as a representative of AEW. Omega praised NJPW and called it one of his favorite places in the world.
Omega was then attacked backstage by NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion Gabe Kidd. Kidd and Omega have traded shots in interviews and on social media in recent months.
