MVP On The Hurt Syndicate: You Said We Shouldn’t Have Been Broken Up, We Agreed

MVP comments on The Hurt Business reuniting in AEW as The Hurt Syndicate.

The Hurt Business had a memorable run in WWE, and while fans often hoped to see them get back together after they broke up, they never did. Instead, WWE released Shelton Benjamin in September 2023, and MVP and Bobby Lashley left WWE this past summer. MVP then joined AEW and made his debut at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam. Benjamin joined him on the October 2 episode of AEW Dynamite. Lashley then reunited with them at AEW Fright Night Dynamite.

In a tweet, MVP commented on their reunion and promoted their appearance on the November 6 episode of AEW Dynamite.

You said we shouldn’t have been broken up,” MVP said. “We agreed. We took action. Join us if you support us. “The Hurt Syndicate” On AEW Dynamite!”

Shelton Benjamin Wants To Win World Title

Since his arrival in AEW, Shelton Benjamin has made it clear that he wants to win a world championship. Speaking on Gabby AF, he discussed how he’s in it to win titles.

“I look at it this way, when it boils down to it, no matter what I’m doing, I’m definitely in it to be champ,” Shelton Benjamin said. “I also get that sometimes it’s just not your time, sometimes the story is not about you. But no matter what I’m doing, I’m in it to win championships. World Championship, Tag Team Championship, any title.

“So do I want it to be centered around me? Yes, I love the spotlight. I’ve always wanted the spotlight, it’s just the people in charge had different plans, and when you’re working for WWE, you kinda go with whatever they’re playing with. And that’s okay, I can accept that.

“But make no mistake, I still want a World Championship, I still want every accolade I can possibly stack onto my resume. So whether other members are added or not, make no mistake, I want to be champ. Period!”
