Angel Garza Undergoes Surgery On His Hand

Angel Garza has been sidelined, as he is recovering from surgery.

Garza shared the news in a post on his Facebook page. He stated that he had surgery on his hand after he was competing in a match and heard a pop when he landed on his palms. Specifically, he said that the surgery removed ganglion cysts in his wrist, and he will soon start physical therapy.

Garza also explained that he will have to rehab for two weeks, and he won’t be able to do any physical activity due to the risk of infection. (H/t Andrew Thompson of POST Wrestling)

As previously announced, Garza re-signed with WWE for another three years in July 2024. He is currently in a tag team with Berto (Humberto Carrillo), and they are members of Legado del Fantasma. Garza last wrestled on the October 18 episode of WWE SmackDown, where he and Berto lost in a three-way tag team match that included the Motor City Machine Guns and A-Town Down Under.

As of this writing, there is no word on how long Angel Garza will be out of action. WrestleZone wishes him well in his recovery, and we will provide more information as it becomes available.
