Kevin Owens made a surprise appearance at WWE Crown Jewel Kickoff.
Owens had been absent since he was sent home after he attacked Randy Orton on the October 11 episode of WWE SmackDown. The following week, Orton told Nick Aldis that he wanted a match with Orton at WWE Crown Jewel, but Aldis said that he couldn’t do that. Orton then called out Triple H on the October 25 episode of WWE SmackDown, and Triple H reluctantly booked the match.
Randy Orton shared his thoughts ahead of his match against Kevin Owens at WWE Crown Jewel Kickoff, and Owens interrupted him. While security officials separated them, Owens delivered a final message to Orton.
“The only voices in your head, what they should be saying is that you’re a disgusting human being,” Kevin Owens said. “You should be ashamed of yourself. You think these people love you? I loved you. I would have never done what you did to me to you, I thought what we had was real special. On Saturday night, I’m putting down RKO for good.”
WWE Crown Jewel Kickoff also featured a major announcement, as Triple H said that the champions would get a massive ring. More information is available here.
