AEW Dynamite Viewership Slightly Decreases Against World Series On 10/30, Demo Stays Even

AEW Dynamite saw a slight decrease in viewership on October 30 against game five of the MLB World Series.

According to Wrestlenomics, 628,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, drawing a 0.19 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is down slightly from last week’s episode when 637,000 viewers tuned in. The demo stayed even from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.19 rating in the same demographic.

Despite the slight decrease, Dynamite’s viewership remained steady against game five of the MLB World Series, which saw the LA Dodgers beat the New York Yankees. The game drew 18.6 million viewers, a seven-year high for a game five.

What happened on AEW Dynamite this week?

This week’s show kicked off with Orange Cassidy coming to the ring and challenging Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship.

Adam Cole defeated Buddy Matthews in his return to the ring and needs two more wins to face MJF at Full Gear. Cole will face Malakai Black next week.

Private Party defeated the Young Bucks to win the AEW World Tag Team Titles for the first time.

The main event saw Swerve Strickland defeat Shelton Benjamin. Following the match, Bobby Lashley made his AEW debut and laid out Strickland.
