Nikki Garcia has been revealed as a part of the newest series of The Traitors on Peacock.
The former WWE Diva is not a stranger to the world of reality television. Her and her sister Brie found huge fame as the stars of Total Divas. The twins even earned themselves a spin-off show called Total Bellas. This saw Brie and Bryan Danielson move into Nikki and John Cena’s house.
Nikki Garcia has been in the news recently, embroiled in a legal battle with former husband Artem Chigvintsev. This came after Chingvintsev was arrested for felony domestic violence on August 29. However, he claims that she was the primary aggressor and the case is ongoing.
However, to keep her mind off the controversy, Garcia has been drafted as a contestant on The Traitors. The WWE legend has been announced by NBCU as part of of Peacock’s third season of the show. The show is set in a remote house in Scotland with $250,000 on the line, although winning the money won’t be easy.
What is The Traitors?
Produced by Studio Lambert, the show pits contestants against one another to find out who is the traitor amongst them. Nicole Garcia is just one of 21 reality stars taking place. She joins celebs like Dylan Efron, Lord Ivar Mountbatten and Bob The Drag Queen in this battle for a quarter of a million dollars.
“THE TRAITORS is a nail-biting psychological adventure in which treachery and deceit are the name of the game,” reads the show’s official synopsis. “The entertainment industry’s most competitive reality stars and famous faces play the ultimate murder mystery game. Hosted by award-winning actor Alan Cumming at an ancient castle set deep in the Scottish Highlands, contestants work together on a series of exhilarating missions to build a prize fund worth up to $250,000.
Hidden amongst the Faithful are the Traitors, whose goal is to eliminate the Faithful and claim the prize for themselves. Under the cover of darkness, the Traitors murder the Faithful one by one in a treacherous spree, while the Faithful try to uncover the Traitors and banish them from the game. If the Faithful contestants banish all the Traitors, they will share the prize fund. But if a Traitor or Traitors makes it to the end, they will steal all the money.”
Garcia is not the first former WWE star to appear on the show. TNA Hall of Famer Gail Kim was also a contestant on the Canadian version earlier this year. Despite this, Nikki Garcia will want to improve on her performance by winning the entire show.
