Comedian Rips Hulk Hogan Appearance At Donald Trump Rally, Calls Him A ‘D-Lister’

Hulk Hogan has been hitting the campaign trail for Donald Trump. Some people believe this is a detriment to the Republican Presidential nominee.

Comedian Jordan Klepper appeared on MSNBC and critiqued Trump’s recent Presidential rally at Madison Square Garden in New York. The rally resulted in headlines for many different reasons. This includes comedian Tony Hinchcliffe being highly criticized for referring to Puerto Rico as a “floating island of garbage.”

Klepper also drew attention to the celebrities involved, including Hulk Hogan. He said that having “D-listers” like Hogan and Dr. Phil McGraw make Trump and the Republican party seem tiny.

“I think what I saw at that event, is Donald Trump looking small. And it’s the people that he brought up with him. If you’re presenting to the world your ‘final case’ and the best thing you have to offer is Dr. Phil and Hulk Hogan, these D-listers who are out there,” Klepper said. “And just anger and bad jokes that don’t play and jokes that are offensive and racist and feel like mad scribblings on a bathroom wall by mediocre men. Well if that’s your final offer? That’s your party, that’s your team, what do you got? And so I see that, and it’s 18,000 people. But somehow he made 18,000 people and the whole event and the whole party seem tiny.

During the rally, Hogan said he said he was proud to be surrounded by “a bunch of hard-working men and women that are real Americans,” not Nazis or domestic terrorists like they’ve often been characterized as. Hogan also blamed Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris for inflation and said Trump was the only man who could fix the country.

Hulk Hogan on why he supports Trump

Hulk Hogan responded to the feedback he has gotten since he endorsed Trump on FOX News’ One Nation with Brian Kilmeade.

“Brother, I’ve still got that Trump Pump on, dude,” he said. “But the weird thing is, I’ve been going all over the country with Real American Beer, my brand-new beer, and I wrote down a bunch of states I was at, Wisconsin, Ohio, Arkansas, Minnesota, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Illinois, Idaho, Nebraska, Michigan, and everywhere I’ve gone, thousands of people get in line to meet and greet me. Everybody’s for Trump.

“So I hear what you’re saying about the polls, and it’s even-steven and it might be a close call, but let me tell you something, I don’t believe the polls, it’s gonna be a landslide. At the end of the day, all of America wants to get back to America, not the way it used to be, but the way it should be brother. Trump is on fire. “
