Shelton Benjamin says Bobby Lashley potentially coming to AEW would mean that there’s another monster in the company.
Bobby Lashley has been increasingly linked to AEW since MVP debuted at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam. The speculation has ramped up since Shelton Benjamin joined him on the October 2 episode of Dynamite.
Speaking with Scott Fishman of TV Insider, Shelton Benjamin was asked to comment on Bobby Lashley potentially coming to AEW.
“If that was the case, that means there would be another monster in the company. Based on whatever his plans are, that could be a threat to everyone. We heard the rumblings and what people were whispering. For the most part, I’m not concerned with that. I’m concerned about what happens Wednesday between Swerve and me. If someone else joins the company, I think it would be a great asset. At the same time, I’m not concerned with that right now. I’m concerned with Wednesday.”
Bobby Lashley recently commented on his future and said it was time to put pen to paper.
Shelton Benjamin will face Swerve Strickland on the October 30th episode of AEW Dynamite.
WrestleZone will have coverage of AEW Dynamite as it airs on October 30th.
