WWE Raw Results:

The show kicks off with a video package featuring the latest on the Bloodline saga. Last week on Raw, Solo Sikoa cost Jey Uso the Intercontinental Championship. On SmackDown, Jey helped Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns cost Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Main Event Jey Uso is Now In Your City

Jey says a lot has happened over the last week. The Bloodline cost Jey the IC title, so he cost them the WWE Tag Team Championships. There is only one person Jey wants to speak to right now. Jimmy Usos music hits. Jimmy joins Jey in the ring. Jey looks on as Jimmy says he’s on Raw for one reason. Jimmy is here to say thank you. Jimmy says Solo and his Bloodline ain’t the ones. Jey says they aren’t either. Jimmy scowls as Jey reminds him that the last time they saw each other, they were fighting at WrestleMania. Jey rants about his accomplishments and what he’s done on his own. They don’t get confused anymore. Everyone knows who Jey is and who Jimmy is.

Jey notes that besides all that, the most important thing to him is being Jimmy’s twin. Jimmy tries to dap Jey up, but Jey pushes him back. Jey says they still have some stuff to fix. If they do this, they have to do it the right way. They can’t be, yes, men. Jey will be Jey, Jimmy will be Jimmy, and together they will be the Usos. Jimmy says ok. Jimmy tells Jey to come to SmackDown this week and talk to the OTC so they can squash the beef. Jey and Jimmy shake hands. The Bloodline appears and attacks Jimmy and Jey. Jimmy is tied up in the ropes. Jacob Fatu wraps a chair around Jey’s neck. As Fatu charges in for a hip attack, Jey tosses the chair at Fatu, hitting him in the face. Jimmy and Jey clear the ring with superkicks.

Grade: C+

Jey, thankfully, wasn’t as blown up as normal from yeeting through the crowd on his way to the ring. Standard stuff from Jimmy and Jey here. This predictably ended with a Bloodline attack. There is nothing offensive and nothing world-breaking here.

Backstage, Dominik Mysterio discovers he’s facing Damian Priest in the main event tonight.

Sheamus vs. Ludwig Kaiser

Sheamus and Kaiser trade shots. White noise by Sheamus. The fight spills out of the ring. Sheamus drives Kaiser into the ring post repeatedly. Kaiser escapes a powerbomb attempt and traps Sheamus in a guillotine. Sheamus rams Kaiser into the ring post. Sheamus fires up and lands a flurry of offense, and goes up top. Kaiser cuts Sheamus off and hits a powerbomb off the second rope. PK by Kaiser. Sheamus kicks out. Kaiser runs into a knee strike. Kaiser bounces off of the ropes and eats a Brogue Kick. Sheamus pins Kaiser.

Winner- Sheamus

Grade: C-

These two usually have great chemistry, but something seemed off tonight. Since returning, Sheamus has been in his bag, but he seemed a step slower tonight. Same for Kaiser. This clash wasn’t as hard-hitting as we have come to expect from both men.

Zelina Vega vs. Ivy Nile

Vega slaps Nile. Nile drives Vega into the corner. Leaping side kick by Nile. Vega sends Nile out of the ring. Nile gets to her feet. Vega dives off the apron with a Meteora. After the break, Vega lands a moonsault for a near fall. Nile responds with a German suplex. Vega kicks out. Outside the ring, Julius Creed tries to get involved. Del Toro and Wilde brawl with the Creeds. Back in the ring, Nile lands a spinning Uranage for the win.

Winner- Ivy Nile

Grade: C

Standard TV match. Nile and Vega weren’t given much time to work with here, and the outside interference didn’t add anything here other than making it seem Nile can’t beat Vega without help. That doesn’t serve anyone here.

The Visionary Speaks

Seth Rollins says he’s on a hunt for a monster. Make no mistake, Bronson Reed is a monster, but so is he. Rollins forgot about that side of him, but Reed brought it back out. Reed appears on the ‘tron and says he promised Raw GM Adam Pearce he wouldn’t cause chaos in the arena tonight. So Reed invites Rollins to the parking lot to fight. Rollins power walks backstage; Pearce appears and tells Rollins he’s already got his match. Rollins doesn’t care. Reed and Rollins brawl. Rollins hits the Stomp on the hood of a car. Rollins starts to cut a promo about how bad he is. Reed gets to his feet. The brawl continues. Reed hits a DVD out of the back of a trailer through a platform.

Grade: C-

Rollins and Reed have been great leading up to this. Considering what we have seen Reed do recently and Rollins in the past, this was all quite tame. Reed leaves Rollins lying again but with one of the weakest-looking OMG spots we’ve seen this year.

World Tag Team Championship No.1 Contenders Final: Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee vs. The New Day vs. War Raiders

Erik and Ivar clear the ring and use Dragon Lee as a lawn dart. After the break, Mysterio counters the Viking Experience with a DDT. Kingston takes out the field with a trust fall. The War Raider work over Mysterio. Mysterio tags in Lee. Lee lands his patented tree of woe double stomp. Mysterio lands a top rope rana on Erik while Lee Powerbomb Kingston. Woods breaks up the pin. Kingston sets up New Day’s finish. Woods decides to go after Mysterio instead of hitting the move. Lee sends Kingston into the ropes. Mysterio calls for the 619. Chad Gable appears and pulls Mysterio out of the ring with an ankle lock. Erik and Ivar pins Kingston after a slingshot Hart Attack Clothesline.

Winners- The Viking Raiders

Grade: C+

This was probably the best match of the night. There are lots of great nearfalls and big moves. The finish was wonky, but it gets us to the Viking Raiders vs. The Judgement Day, which is the most intriguing of all of the potential matchups.

Dominik Mysterio vs. Damian Priest

Dominik attacks Priest as soon as the bell rings. Priest fires back and lands a series of strikes. The fight spills out of the ring. Dominik manages to send Priest into the ring post. Dive by Dominik. After the break, Priest fires up and calls for his finish. Dominik rolls out of the ring. Priest pounces Dominik over the commentary desk. Liv Morgan appears and distracts the referee. All of the Judgement Day attacks Priest. Priest grabs a chair and beats down the Judgement Day with it. In the confusion, Dominik rolls up Priest for the win.

Winner- Dominik Mysterio

After the match, Priest drops Dominik with the Razor’s Edge. Priest beats Dominik down with a chair. Priest starts to leave but turns around to beat down Dominik some more. Carlito steps in and gets sent flying with South of Heaven. Priest hits Dominik with South of Heaven for good measure.

Grade: C+

Watching Priest beat up Dominik is fun, but we’ve seen this match before. This was no different than any of their other confrontations. The finish wasn’t shocking, as they are clearly building towards Dominik challenging for the world title. Priest got his heat back after the match, but this whole thing felt like Groundhog Day.

WWE Raw Review:

This show was essentially a cosplay of the shows they have been doing leading up to this point. It had all of the elements the last shows have had, but none of the zazz to go along with it. Reed and Rollins bored tonight, and so much of the action fell flat. No sign of Gunther, and this writer thinks if the world champ doesn’t have to show up, neither should we. The Bloodline drama this week was riveting, as we have all been wondering if Samu Zayn would be incorporated, and we got that question answered. What do you think happens next? Let us know in the comments below!
