Nic Nemeth Feels Like JBL Has A Plan, But Doesn’t Know Where He Stands

Nic Nemeth is unsure how he and JBL will get along moving forward.

The TNA World Champion has been joined by JBL at events in Mexico and the United States in recent months. The former WWE Champion made an appearance after Nic Nemeth retained his TNA World Championship at TNA Emergence. He whispered something in Nic Nemeth’s ear, before leaving the ring. This has yet to be followed up on, leaving fans curious as to JBL’s next appearance.

Nic Nemeth recently spoke with MuscleManMalcolm, who asked him about JBL’s future plans. The TNA Champion revealed that he didn’t know, and refused to reveal what he whispered in his ear that night in TNA.

However, he said that JBL has a plan for what he is doing, so isn’t worried about his future.

“I don’t truly know. He’s whispered something to me on two different occasions. In Mexico and in TNA, and it was a little vague. Also, I’d rather not repeat it because I believe it was whispered to me in confidence. I don’t know where he stands. He did help out by cleaning some trash out of the ring at one point for us. I hope nothing unseemly happens with him because I feel like he has a plan, and he’s been assembling that plan piece by piece over the last few months. But I will not worry about him at this moment.

“I even told John, ‘I wouldn’t worry about him. Worry about the wrestler who’s a lot better than you, the one you’re facing for the world title. Because I’m not just going to hand that thing over. I want him to earn it.’ But, honestly, I don’t ever want to lose this title. Ever.”

Nemeth is defending his TNA World Championship against Joe Hendry at Bound For Glory.
