Kyle Fletcher took drastic measures on AEW Dynamite, determined to prove that he was nothing like Will Ospreay.
At AEW WrestleDream, Kyle Fletcher turned on Will Ospreay and cost him the AEW International Championship in a three-way match with Ricochet and Konosuke Takeshita. On the October 23 episode of AEW Dynamite, Fletcher explained himself.
Fletcher said that Ospreay had been laid up in a hospital bed for eleven days with numbness tingling down his arms and legs due to the “herniated disc you don’t tell anyone about. He continued to describe his issues with Ospreay, noting that people used to compare him to the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion.
Fletcher said that he was better than Ospreay in every way, and he challenged Ospreay to ignore the doctors’ orders and face him in the ring next week. He vowed to send Ospreay back to the hospital. Finally, to prove that he was nothing like Ospreay, Fletcher shaved his head.
