Shelton Benjamin and MVP say they’re taking over.
In a vignette on the October 23 episode of AEW Dynamite, MVP hyped up Shelton Benjamin following his in-ring debut. He said that there was always “an agenda”, and there was a motive. Benjamin stated that they were not there to make friends; they were there to crack heads, win championships, and make money. Benjamin said that they were all about “that business.”
MVP declared that they were merchants of misery. He also said that they were going to take over. Benjamin said that they had done it before, and MVP said they would do it again.
Benjamin then scored the win in his second AEW match; he defeated Sammy Guevara in a singles bout.
Benjamin made his AEW on the October 2 episode of AEW Dynamite and reunited with MVP. He then defeated Lio Rush in his in-ring debut on the October 18 episode of Dynamite.
MVP and Benjamin were previously stablemates in WWE; they were in The Hurt Business together.
