Wheeler Yuta has lifted the lid on the Blackpool Combat Club’s goals for AEW
The group recently turned on Bryan Danielson, ending the career of the former AEW Champion at WrestleDream.
They look to be embarking on a reign of terror over the promotion, with AEW Champion Jon Moxley leading the charge. Along with Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli and PAC, they are one of the most impressive teams in AEW history.
Wheeler Yuta recently spoke with The Mark Hoke Show, and was asked about what the BCC’s plan was going forward. He couldn’t give away their endgame. However, Wheeler Yuta noted that they simply wanted to grow AEW as a company, even if their methods were less-than-ideal. He said the were “a little nasty, a little dirty”, but justified.
“I can’t really reveal the plans and the endgame all that much, or else they probably wouldn’t work out too well for us.” Wheeler Yuta said. “But the main goal is to make AEW a place that we can all be proud of.”
“There’s a lot of good that goes on at AEW. But there’s also, it gets a little messy. There are a lot of things that we need to clean up, a lot of things that we don’t necessarily agree with as members of the Blackpool Combat Club. You know, we talked about it when we feuded with The Elite a long time ago, when we were calling them amateurs and we were calling the roster amateurs.”
“There are just things where we want to tighten up. We want to grow as a company, and maybe our methods of growth are a little nasty, a little dirty, but really, we just want the company to be the best that it can be. That’s really it.” Wheeler Yuta added.
