Grade: A
This was an exciting way to start Raw. Reed’s path of destruction is well documented, but Rollins gave as good as he got tonight. This is a welcome change to kicking off Raw with your standard promo. After this brawl, how can you not be excited to see these two superstars clash?

Grade: C
… Didn’t have a tag match between New Day and The Authors of Pain, leading to a feud between the Wyatt Sicks and The Final Testament. This segment had too many moving parts, but seeing so many intersecting storylines is cool. The Final Testament has been floundering since its inception… Maybe the rub of a feud with a group as over as the Wyatt Sicks will be the thing to get them over the hump. Also, Paul Ellering finally did something besides stare menacingly at the camera, so there is that.

Rollins tries to speak to Adam Pearce backstage, but Reed attacks him. Both men are pulled apart. Peace screams that they would know he is giving them what they want if they had just asked. They have their match at Crown Jewel.
Grade: C-
Sky and Sane spent this match working around Rodriguez, who has the charisma and coordination of a wet paper bag. The inclusion of Jackson and Legend further proves the renewed investment in the women’s tag division. This is precisely what that division needs. Spotlight and crossover with the women’s division. This is how you gain interest. Ripley is always great, and watching her beat up Morgan and Dominik never gets old… but suffering through that match just to get to the dope segment after the match wasn’t worth it.
Tag Team Championship No.1 Contender Tournament: Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee vs. The Creed Brothers

Outside the ring, Zelina Vega sends Ivy Nile flying with a rana. Back in the ring, Mysterio lands a 619 on Julius. Lee follows that with a splash for the win.
Winners- Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee
Grade: C
The winners here are never in doubt, and unless the match is a 10 out of 10, that will always take away from how much you can enjoy a match. The Creeds never had a shot here, and that speaks to how they have been booked since coming to the main roster. There is zero reason to take them seriously, which is a shame.
Backstage, Carlito asks Pearce to give Dominik Mysterio a title shot against Gunther. Pearce laughs and realizes that Carlito is serious. Pearce agrees to give Dominik a shot if he can beat a former world champion next week.
Backstage, Gunther says Cody Rhodes is just one of many people who have held the WWE Championship. Gunther is one of one. Damian Priest interrupts and tells Gunther he wants his title back. Priest doesn’t want a handout; he’ll earn his shot. Gunther tells Priest that’s good for him and walks away.

Sikoa is holding a Yeet shirt and tickets to the show. Sikoa says they are here to help Jey. Tama Tonga tries to help Jey, but Jey decks him. Sikoa and Jey argue. Breakker hits a Super Spear for the win.
Winner and NEW Intercontinental Champion, Bron Breakker!
Grade: A
This match is the opposite of the LWO/Creed Brothers tag match. We all knew Jey would lose tongiht, but Breakker and Jey put on an exciting match that pulled you in and made you believe that Jey would retain. After the Bloodline’s interference didn’t work and Jey landed all those superkicks, a Spear, and a Uso Splash, even this writer thought it was over. The crowd popped hard as hell for that near fall. No matter how predictable, this match was engaging and fun.
WWE Raw Review:
There was a good amount of blah on this show. The insistence on featuring Raquel Rodriguez each week is getting to be a bit much. Hell, Lash Legend would be better in that spot. Legend is a believable badass that, when standing in front of Ripley, could believably hold her own. Rodriguez has spent the past two weeks getting knocked around by Ripley. How can anyone take Ripley’s literal punching bag seriously?
The highlight(s) of the night was the chaos between Rollins and Reed and the main event, which featured the continuation of the Bloodline story and the coronation of Bron Breakker. Jey HAS to get involved in the Bloodline Civil War now, and we are officially on the road to Survivor Series WarGames.
