Report: WWE Negotiating Potential Return To Perth, Australia In 2025

WWE is reportedly negotiating their return to Australia.

The West Australian reports that WWE is in negotiations with the Cook government to bring WWE back to Australia, specifically Perth, in 2025. The report notes that the government is being “tight-lipped” about the discussions. However, Tourism Minister Rita Saffioti is quoted on the matter.

“We’re constantly pursuing these types of unique and exclusive events that attract visitors to our beautiful State, particularly ones that we know are incredibly popular like UFC and WWE,” Saffioti said.

WWE held Elimination Chamber 2024 at Optus Stadium in Perth, Western Australia, on February 24. The company previously held Super ShowDown in Australia in 2018. Meanwhile, AEW will make their debut in Australia next year. They will hold their Grand Slam Australia event at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on February 15, 2025.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
