MJF continues to target Adam Cole.
The former tag team partners have been bitter enemies since Cole turned on MJF at AEW Worlds End 2023. MJF then took Cole out at AEW Double or Nothing, but Cole returned at AEW WrestleDream and set his sights on Cole.
In a tweet, MJF took a shot at Adam Cole by blaming him for turning Twitter into “the most negative place” on the internet.
“This app has become the most negative place on the entire internet. It’s obvious that this stems from a man who’s separated all of us further apart with his disgusting rhetoric. Causing people of all walks of life to pick a side and to harbor hate. We must stop Adam Cole.”
Cole discussed his return on the October 18 episode of AEW Dynamite, and he challenged MJF to a fight. The former AEW World Champion refused and said that Cole would never get the chance to face him.
