Frankie Kazarian will be the man in the middle for the TNA Bound for Glory main event.
The main event of the show sees Nic Nemeth defending his TNA World Championship against Joe Hendry. The former TNA X-Division Champion has a history with both Joe Hendry and Nic Nemeth in TNA.
Frankie Kazarian lost to Joe Hendry in the match that earned the Scot the spot at Bound for Glory. This meant he didn’t get a shot at Nemeth’s title, but has found his way into the main event spot at the show anyway.
On TNA Impact this week, Frankie Kazarian attacked Nic Nemeth after his match with Matt Cardona. He was thwarted by Joe Hendry, who also ran out to fight off the former AEW Tag Team Champion, alongside his PPV opponent.
However, Frankie Kazarian had the final word.
After being thrown from the ring by Hendry and Nemeth, he revealed that he was the special guest referee for the main event of Bound For Glory. This shocked both men, and left question marks on where his allegiances lay.
“You think that’s funny?” He asked the crowd. “You marks enjoy these idiots manhandling me?”
“Well, I’ve got something you’re all going to enjoy. It’s right here. You see, its been made official. The special guest referee for the world title match for Bound for Glory will be the King of TNA, Frankie Kazarian!”
Because of his issues with both men, how the guest referee will call this match is anyones guess.
