Joe Hendry Submits UK Entry For The Eurovision Song Contest

Joe Hendry could be representing Great Britain on the world stage at next year’s Eurovision Song Contest.

The TNA star’s music has been a big hit this year. His entrance music managed to rank at number on the UK Official Big Top 40 charts. This was the first for a professional wrestler since Fandango in 2013.

Following this success, he launched his campaign to achieve the Christmas number one spot. This is following years of parody songs by the YouTuber LadBaby dominating the charts.

Once that campaign comes to a close, Joe Hendry is beginning his drive to represent the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest.

On Twitter, Joe Hendry laid out his plan. He Tweeted out that he will submit ‘I Believe In Joe Hendry (Eurovision Remix)’ as the Eurovision song, with hopes of singing it in Basel next year.

“It’s official. As I confirmed on BBC Radio Scotland ??????? About 4 months from now, we will submit: ‘I Believe In Joe Hendry (Eurovision Remix)’ In good time for the March deadline. No matter the outcome, this will be fun? ?

Despite this push, it seems unlikely that he will represent the UK with a remix of his entrance theme. Eurovision requires original songs to be sung, with the remix of his song unlikely to meet the criteria.

Still, he can’t do much worse than Olly Alexander’s nil point from the public this year.
