Report: Update On Brock Lesnar’s Current WWE Status

Is Brock Lesnar on his way back to WWE programming after Cody Rhodes’ recent comments? It doesn’t seem likely at the moment.

Following Cody Rhodes’ comments on RAW Monday about taking down a “Beast” the WWE Universe went into speculative overdrive about the possibility of Brock Lesnar being brought back to television.

This led to a report on Tuesday that suggested Lesnar and WWE had recently been in talks and there was consideration around bringing him back into the fold. However, this report appears to be false.

According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), these talks were denied by a high-level WWE source. The source was quoted stating: “There are no creative plans in place for Lesnar, and if conversations have occurred, we’ve not been briefed on that.”

Lesnar was removed from WWE programming after being referenced in a lawsuit against Vince McMahon earlier this year.

Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information on Brock Lesnar’s WWE status as it becomes available.
