A new Ring of Honor Television Champion was crowned at AEW WrestleDream‘s Zero Hour pre-show, with Brian Cage walking out on top and with the belt.
In a match against Atlantis Jr. to start the show’s pre-event affair, Cage dominated early on, but Atlantis Jr. was able to stay in the match and eventually gain the momentum. Late in the match, Atlantis tried to roll up Cage quickly for the win, but Cage got out of it and landed his Drill Claw finisher to win the match.
For Cage, this is the first time the superstar has won the ROH TV Championship in his long and decorated career. Previously, Cage had won the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships twice, once with Kaun and once with Toa Liona.
