Jesse Ventura Signs WWE Legends Deal, Teases ‘Bigger And Better’ Stuff

Hell has indeed frozen over — Jesse Ventura is back in the WWE family.

Ventura returned to WWE for the July 29 episode of Raw, which emanated from St. Paul, Minnesota. During a recent interview with Insight With Chris Van Vliet, Ventura said his relationship with WWE was “much improved” and that he was imminently close to finalizing the Legends contracts.

On Thursday, Ventura confirmed he signed a new Legends deal with WWE in a video posted on his “Die First Then Quit” Substack.

Jesse Ventura confirms WWE Legends deal

“Yes, hell has frozen over. I’m back in the WWE as a Legend. I’ve gone through negotiations, we’ve reached agreements and I feel very good about it because I’m 73 years old now and my life has now gone full circle.”

Ventura says he gained fame and fortune in wrestling before going on to do many things after wrestling. Now, he feels the time is right to return to wrestling and to finish things as a pro wrestler. Ventura says he feels like he’s going back to his roots. He cited an interview with Dan Akyroyd, who said his time in film is over, but now he’s having fun on the stage.

“And it seems that many of us do that in life. You go through life, you go on this trip and in the end, it circles around and you end up back up with your roots,” Ventura explained. “I’ve signed back with the WWE — I have to remember that, it was WWF when I was there.

“I’ll just say this — there’s even more, bigger and better stuff waiting to happen. I’ll finish like this, let’s remember one thing — I never did get my shot at Hogan, did I?”

Ventura never got his shot at Hogan, or an apology from him, either.
