Meiko Satomura Puts TJPW Roster On Notice At All Rise ’24

“The Final Boss” Meiko Satomura made it crystal clear that All Rise ’24 was not her final in-ring TJPW appearance. At the Korakuen Hall show last October 6, she teamed up with Shoko Nakajima to take on Miu Watanabe and Miyu Yamashita. The tag match marked her first match in a TJPW ring in five years.

In the closing moments of the match, Meiko Satomura and Miyu Yamashita shared an intensely physical back-and-forth sequence. Both competitors showcased their signature striking offense against one another. However, despite Miyu’s best efforts, it was Meiko who picked up the pinfall victory after executing her Scorpio Rising maneuver.

Immediately after her and Shoko’s hands were raised, Meiko Satomura took the microphone and addressed the other three women in the ring. As she reiterated her plan to retire in April 2025, she added that they each had six months left to dare compete against her again. Meiko closed the show by promising that she will be back to wrestle for TJPW soon before she officially retires.

Among the three, Meiko Satomura has only competed in singles action against Miyu Yamashita whom she has defeated. Shoko Nakajima and Miu Watanabe are yet to step foot across the ring from her in a singles match. Meiko has also mentioned being open to competing in various wrestling promotions across the globe prior to retirement.
