CM Punk has named the four wrestlers he’d take to a bar fight with him.
The former AEW star is no stranger to fights outside the ring, being fired by Tony Khan for attacking Jack Perry at Wembley.
Speaking on the No-Contest Wrestling podcast with O’Shea Jackson Jr. and TJ Jefferson, CM Punk was asked which four wrestlers he would pick to help him get out of a bar fight situation. At first, he clarified that it was current-day stars, and not all-time. His intention was to pick the famously tough Haku, but the host disallowed that choice.
CM Punk named three WWE stars, as well as a fourth wrestler who currently works for AEW. That was Samoa Joe, who he had been in a similar situation described back when the pair wrestled together in the early 2000s. His other three choices were Bron Breakker, Shayna Baszler and Braun Strowman, all for obvious reasons.

“I’m taking Bron Breakker. Hell, I’m taking Shayna Baszler. She’s with me, she’s my homie. I feel like Braun Strowman is a good pick for this type of situation. Nicest guy in the world, but if we need to get out of there, make a hole, he’s making a hole.”
“One more… does it have to be somebody in WWE? Samoa Joe. There have been… I don’t know about statute of limitations, but there have been situations in the early 2000s where maybe somebody who looked a lot like me and somebody who looked a lot like Samoa were in similar situations to what you’re describing.”
