Bronson Reed: 'I'm Too F**kin' Good' To Be Benched At WrestleMania

Bronson Reed Reacts To His Underwhelming WWE Return, What Should’ve Happened Instead

Bronson Reed thinks WWE didn’t know what to do with him when he returned to the company.

The former NXT North American Champion was released in August 2021, during a large-scale release of WWE talent. However, he made his return to WWE in December 2022 after Triple H took over the company.

Bronson Reed’s return saw him help The Miz win a match against Dexter Lumis. It was an underwhelming return, and one that took him some time to really get going on the main roster.

Bronson Reed appeared on Insight With Chris Van Vliet, where he spoke about his return to the WWE in 2022. He explained that the WWE didn’t really know how to use him, but was at least grateful to be on TV to try and establish himself.

He compared it to his TNA debut where he attacked Josh Alexander, immediately establishing himself as a threat to one of their top stars.

“I think this sort of happens at times. Obviously, I’d been rehired, they want to use me. They don’t really know what to do with me. So they sort of just rush something. Put you in something so you’re at least on TV, and they can start to establish you and stuff. But I think the best way to do things is to make him impactful.

“I did something similar to what I did with Seth in TNA when I went to Impact Wrestling, I attacked Josh Alexander on my first night. I only gave him three tsunamis. But it was enough to be like, Oh my God, this guy is an instant threat against one of the main guys here in TNA. What’s he going to do? And I think that’s sort of what I should have done in my debut with WWE.”
