Bronson Reed Didn’t Plan For Braun Strowman Segments Going Viral

Bronson Reed didn’t think his segments with Braun Strowman would be as popular as they were.

The two monsters beat the hell out of each week after week on Monday Night Raw. This included Strowman spearing Reed through a wall, while Bronson Reed also hit a Tsunami on Strowman on top of a car.

These led to their Last Monster Standing match on Raw, which saw Seth Rollins help Strowman pick up the victory. These clips became hugely popular online, although Bronson Reed never expected them to go viral.

Bronson Reed recently appeared on Insight With Chris Van Vliet. He was asked if he planned for his segments with Braun Strowman, which the WWE star denied.

He added that he was excited to work with Strowman, and that Triple H had a great vision for their angles which eventually went viral. Bronson Reed noted that the clips got over 13 million views on social media, which was a huge success.

“No, I don’t think so.” Bronson Reed told Chris Van Vliet. “I was excited to be able to work with Braun. I think there was a natural chemistry there, we have maybe touched one time before in the Andre the Giant battle royal last year. And I was like, Oh, we could do something there with me and him. But then it’s like, what do you do?”

“And then Hunter obviously had great vision for things, came up with the car angle and everything. And then once we were filming that, it’s in the moment, I was like, Okay, this is gonna be cool. I think people were gonna really respond to this. And then it ended up being WWE’s most viral moment of the week. I think it got almost 13 million views across social media platforms. So it worked.”
