Swerve Strickland will return at AEW WrestleDream.
Former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland has been absent since “Hangman” Adam Page beat him in a Lights Out Steel Cage Match at AEW All Out. Prince Nana then said that Strickland was not cleared to compete. Meanwhile, MVP debuted and said that he wanted to talk business with Strickland.
On the October 8 episode of AEW Dynamite, Swerve Strickland was shown training. The broadcast team then announced that he would return at AEW WrestleDream.
In a tweet, Strickland commented on the news by saying, “Let’s talk business.”
WrestleZone will have coverage of AEW WrestleDream as it airs on October 12.
