Jey Uso yeeted his way to WWE NXT on October 8.
NXT Champion Trick Williams kicked off the show, which was held in Chesterfield, Missouri, and commented on winning the title the previous week. Wes Lee interrupted and set his sights on Williams. He made it clear that he wanted to beat Williams to become a Triple Crown Champion in NXT. Lee said that Williams “ain’t it”, and he vowed to dethrone him. Williams and Lee went back and forth before WWE Intercontinental Champion Jey Uso interrupted.
Uso came out and told the crowd that he was now in their city. Williams hyped up Uso’s win on RAW on Monday. He led the crowd in yeeting and turned his attention back to Lee, saying he would whoop that trick. The crowd then chanted “Yeet” and “Whoop that trick” as Williams and Uso vibed with each other.
Uso previously noted that he would be at NXT following the October 7 episode of WWE RAW, which was in St. Louis.
