Lince Dorado reflects on the “week to week” plans for 205 Live.
WWE 205 Live was a unique show in the WWE portfolio. It was a show created after the success of the Cruiserweight Classic, and it was dedicated to the cruiserweights of WWE. It was a one-hour-long show and was called the fastest hour on television. 205 Live was later moved exclusively to the WWE Network. One of the top stars of the division, Lince Dorado, recently opened up about the show.
While speaking on the Developmentally Speaking podcast, Lince Dorado claimed that the show was merely an idea. The promotion wanted to have a show but did not have any advance plans for the show. Dorado mentioned that the planning was always on a week-by-week basis.
“They had a plan to have a show and that was it, everything kind of seemed to be week to week when it came to ideas and stuff,” Lince Dorado said. [H/T WrestlingInc.]
Lince Dorado tried to be the best that he could do
Lince Dorado just tried to be the best version of himself and do what he was told.
“At the end of the day, that’s what you are, you’re a content creator, businessman, and then a professional wrestler at the WWE,” he said. “I just tried to be the best that I could do. But yeah, there was no real plans until I had suggested all of us together, but then it turned into their idea rather than our idea. But it was an idea, it was better than nothing.”
