Speaking on Hey! (EW) with RJ City, Ricochet was asked about his 2016 match against Ospreay, with City noting that some say it was the best match they’ve seen, but others say it’s the worst.
“It’s all perspective, so I guess technically both can be true. It definitely was not the best match I’ve ever seen, but it was fun. We just tried to have some fun, and I think the people who were there watching it live really enjoyed it.

Ricochet and Ospreay faced each other on the October 2 episode of AEW Dynamite. Konosuke Takeshita interfered, so the match ended without a clear winner. All three stars will clash at AEW WrestleDream.
