Triple H On WWE RAW On Netflix: We’re Looking To Paint A Masterpiece Like We’ve Never Done Before

Triple H wants to paint a masterpiece on screen when WWE moves to Netflix.

Earlier this year, the WWE announced that Raw would be moving to Netflix in January 2025. The move was part of a $5 billion deal which will see the streaming giant become the home of WWE, both in the US and abroad.

Triple H was asked at the Bad Blood post-show press conference about the production changes in WWE after the move to Netflix. He explained that while the WWE produces all its own content, Netflix gives them an “incredible canvas to paint on”, and that he wants to “paint a masterpiece” with their product.

“So here’s the cool thing about what we do. It’s slightly different from a lot of other sports” Triple H said. “In other sports, someone like Netflix picks them up, and someone else has to produce that content because the sport itself doesn’t produce it. But with us? We are turnkey, we do everything ourselves. We create the product, and then we deliver it. They turn on the signal, and we send it out. That’s one of the great things about WWE. Not everybody’s in that position.”

“I think Netflix gives us this incredible canvas to paint on, and we’re looking to paint a masterpiece like we’ve never done before. But it’s still us doing it. It’s going to be WWE in all its glory, just with the volume turned up. We’ve never had an opportunity quite like this before, and now with Netflix, we can hit all of the U.S. with RAW, but also reach 80% of the globe with SmackDown, NXT, and all the Premium Live Events (PLEs), starting January 6th.”

“We were already strong in a lot of place. But with Netflix, it goes to another level.”
